MICAH 7:18

At some point in our journey, we’ll all have stumble on our walk with Jesus. However, God wants to forgive us and even finds joy in showing us mercy! The Bible says this about God: How amazing is that? God loves you so much that he finds DELIGHT in forgiving you. God knows that you’ll stumble at times, but He’s overjoyed when you back up and start fresh again.

Ask God to forgive you of your wrong doing. This is the first step in repenting and getting back on track with God. Decide in your heart that you’ll no longer engage in the behavior. Ask God to remove the desire from heart, especially if you know that it’s something that you have ahard time stopping. God will help, but YOU will have to take the necessary steps to change the behavior.

This may require changing the people that you spend time with, the places that you go or avoiding other things that may trigger the behavior. Change requires sacrifice, but it’ll be so pleasing to God. Remember, change is a process, and God will forgive you still love you even when you mess up.

For give yourself! If you’ve repented for your behavior, God has already forgiven you. You don’t have to continue to feel guilty about what you’ve done. The past is theist, so leave it there! This may sound easier said than done, but Satan tries to codemn you and make you feel bad about yourself.

Jesus came to deliver you from condemnation, so you don’t have ton keep feeling guilty about past decisions. If God has forgiven you, then don’t you think that he want you to forgive yourself.

Make amends to those whom you may have wronged or hurt. God has forgiven you, but he also tells you to treat other people the way that you want to be trated.

Mark 11:24–26

Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive therm, and ye shall have them, and when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Seek Gods Will For Your Life

Pray, rad the bible and listen to God as he tries to communicate with you! God has some GREAT things in store for YOUR life.

Jeremiah 29:11

“ For i know the plans I have for you, ” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
